Is it possible to get more RPM's than the 10RPM quota that comes as standard for the whisper model? Say if you need 50 RPM for your usecase.

    Hello Felix Boe Tangen,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A and thank you for posting your questions here.

I understand that you would like to get more RPM's than the 10RPM quota that comes as standard for the whisper model.

Yes, it is possible to increase the RPM (requests per minute) quota for the Whisper model beyond the standard 10 RPM.

    1. To increase the RPM (requests per minute) quota for the Whisper model beyond the standard 10 RPM, you need to submit a support ticket through the Azure portal. Log in to your Azure account, navigate to the support section, and create a ticket specifically requesting an increase in the RPM quota for the Whisper model.
    2. In your support ticket, provide detailed information about your use case and the reasons for needing a higher quota. This helps the support team understand your requirements and process your request more efficiently. Be clear and concise in explaining how the increased quota will benefit your operations.
    3. Additionally, ensure you are selecting the correct service and deployment type when making your request. The Whisper model might be available through different services like Azure AI Speech Service, so double-check your selection to avoid any confusion.
    4. After submitting your request, follow up with the support team if necessary to ensure your request is being processed. Regular communication can help expedite the process and address any questions the support team might have.

I hope this is helpful! Do not hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions.
