I am unable to install AMD Driver for my AVD Session Hosts. I Get the error 184

"Error 184 - AMD Installer cannot continue due to an unsupported Operating System"

Here is the Microsoft documentation I followed in order to install the driver.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/windows/n-series-amd-driver-setup

I selected the Windows 11 EMS executable file.

Once I launch the driver installation I get the error 184.

I tired installing the .inf as mentioned in the doc without success, the .inf installs but I still get the error 184.

    Hi MarcAF,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.

Given that you are using Windows 11 (24H2 AVD M365 image) with NVv4 Series session hosts and the 23.Q3 AMD driver for Windows 11 EMS, the error you're encountering, "Error 184 - AMD Installer cannot continue due to an unsupported Operating System," could be related to a compatibility issue during the installation process.

To resolve this, please follow these steps:

Make sure that the VM is correctly configured with an NVv4-series VM running Windows 11 EMS.

Extract the driver files and navigate to the path:

    C:\AMD\AMD Software Azure NVv4 Guest Driver 23Q3\Packages\Drivers\Display\WT6A_INF.

Locate the u2397344.inf file (used for Windows 11 EMS) and right-click to select Install.

    After installation, reboot the VM.

Once the VM has rebooted, check Device Manager under Display Adapters to confirm that the AMD GPU is properly installed and functioning.
