Client push failed

Question

I recently configured an SCCM 2403 environment, but the client agent installation is not succeeding. I encountered the following error:

Failed to get DP locations as the expected version from MP 'MYMPFQDN'. Error 0x87d00215 

What could be the reason for this error, and how can it be resolved?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

The error message indicates a distribution point could not be located.

You may check if the client is added to a boundary and boundary group.

And check if respective boundary group is associated with a Distribution Point.
