Installation stuck when trying to install ASP.NET Core 6.0 Runtime (v6.0.36) - Windows Hosting Bundle

Anonymous2024-11-25T02:03:12.3633333+00:00 Hi Malte, thanks a lot for your feedback but I'm afraid this is a machine specific issue as I never got this issue before even if I've installed .Net 6/8 Windows hosting bundle on several machines. In my humble opinion, we might check Event Viewer to see whether there's any exception/error/warning recorded during the installation.
If we can't find any clue in that, maybe we could try to disable Antivirus(if exists), run the installation exe with Admin permission(if it's allowed), update windows OS(if it's allowed) and see whether it worked or not.

note: .net 6 is out of support, so you can not even open a support ticket. you should upgrade to .net 8.
