Question regarding unknown charges in the Azure account

Hello,

I'm a microsoft employee and I have a personal azure account with a work supported subscription (that has a spending limit of 210$/month). Because of the spending limit, i never charged on my personal credit card.

But last month, i was charged 5k on my card by Azure for a VM utilization. I don't have a paid support plan. How can I get this charge disputed? I had deleted all my resources earlier and don't know how this charge came on?

    Hi Vino,

    Please create a new billing support request using my instructions below. There is no charge for billing support request.

    Use this link to start the process:

    https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_CostManagement/Menu/~/support/openedBy/AzurePortal

    Fill out Summary, Problem type, Problem subtype, click Next. There will be a delay, then some recommended solutions will be shown. Do not click on any of the recommended options shown.

    In the upper left corner, click Return to support request

    Click Next to move to Additional details tab, fill out required information, email/phone, etc., click Next, review details and submit case. After submitting you should receive an automated email with a few minutes and a support engineer should contact you within 1 business day.

    First of all, you don't need paid support plan to raise a billing support ticket.

    Check the spending limit removed or not from your subscription. There will be a banner popup if it is removed in Azure Subscription blade. You may need to setup it again to avoid any further charges from your bank card.
