Hello
Let's try a few more steps to demerge the input and output without deleting those folders:
- Check Realtek Audio Settings:
Open the Realtek Audio Control and go to the Advanced Settings. Look for options like "Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously" and "Separate all input jacks as independent input devices". Make sure these options are enabled.
- Update Audio Drivers:
Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause issues. Open Device Manager, find your audio device under Sound, video, and game controllers, right-click on it, and select Update driver. Choose Search automatically for drivers.
- Use Device Manager:
In Device Manager, right-click on your audio device and select Update driver. Choose Browse my computer for drivers and navigate to the Realtek driver folder. This might help reconfigure the settings.
- Run Realtek Audio Troubleshooter:
Some Realtek drivers come with a built-in troubleshooter. Check if there's an option to run a troubleshooter in the Realtek Audio Control or on the Realtek website.
- Check for Conflicting Software:
Sometimes, other audio software can interfere with Realtek settings. Make sure there are no other audio management tools installed that might be causing conflicts.
- Reinstall Realtek Audio Control:
Try reinstalling the Realtek Audio Control. Uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features, then download the latest version from the Realtek website and install it.
Best regards
