Creating a new rule apparently only applies to incoming mail... So, is it possible to run a rule, new or existing, on my inbox mail? Thank you. Jean-Pierre

Yes. Based on my research, for messages that are already in your inbox, all you need to do is create the rule normally and click Run Now. In addition, you could also use Quick Steps to better manage your messages. Hope it helps!

Yes, this does seem to be a version issue, as i know, the version of OWA depends on the version of your Exchange, based on my research, your version of OWA doesn't seem to have the option to Run now.

However, for the rule you create now, it can still be applied to subsequent incoming messages, i.e. new messages. For your existing messages in your Inbox Mail, I'm afraid you have to manage them manually.

Hello Joan, thank you for the note. It helps that you agree it is a version issue and that my version of OWA doesn't seem to have the option to Run now. I will try to find the exact version and contact my administrator, perhaps an upgrade might add the functionality. Handling it manually would involve a lot of work. Thank you.

Glad to hear from you.

Your interface seems to be using Exchange on-premises. Based on my research, in the latest local Exchange, OWA does not have the function of Run Now, but in its Outlook client has, and the operation is relatively smooth, maybe you can consider downloading the Outlook client and logging in to the account to try to manage.

Another method suggestion is to contact the administrator to migrate to the Exchange Online server, but it can be more complicated.
