How can I run an Outlook Web Mail Rule, new or existing, on my inbox mail

Greetings,

I have accessed help on the following page:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-inbox-rules-in-outlook-com-or-outlook-on-the-web-4b094371-a5d7-49bd-8b1b-4e4896a7cc5d#ID0EBD=Outlook_on_the_web

... read the "Outlook on the Web" section, cannot find information on running a rule on mail already in the inbox.

Creating a new rule apparently only applies to incoming mail...

So, is it possible to run a rule, new or existing, on my inbox mail?

Thank you.

Jean-Pierre

    Hi @Jean-Pierre Dareys Robertson

    Welcome to our forum!

Yes. Based on my research, for messages that are already in your inbox, all you need to do is create the rule normally and click Run Now. In addition, you could also use Quick Steps to better manage your messages.User's image Hope it helps!
