"Your organization has turned off sync for this device" is displayed and Microsoft Edge cannot be synced.

This issue is occurring throughout the organization, so could you please let me know if there are any possible causes?

The browser settings "Your browser is managed by your organization" and "Not syncing".

The Disable Reasons that can be seen from the Summary of "edge://sync-internals" are "Enterprise policy, Feature not supported."

@Sakai0217, Thanks for posting in Q&A.

From your description, I know you unable to sync Microsoft Edge even you have assigned premium license.

I have done some research about the issue and here is some information you can refer to fix the issue.

1.Check if there exist some configuration policies for Microsoft Edge in Intune portal that may turn off sync function.

2.The issue may relate to Enterprise State Roaming in Microsoft Entra portal and here is link you can refer to configure it to fix the issue.

    Non-official, just for reference.

3.Check the registry to see if there exist some value that may turn off Microsoft Edge sync. Location: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge] "SyncDisabled"=dword:00000001

Hope above information can help you.

The M365 license (Business Premium) may have restrictions related to sync or Microsoft Edge features. Ensure the M365 license includes the necessary components for Edge sync.

    Check License Assignments:

Business Premium typically includes Microsoft 365 apps, but Microsoft Entra ID P1 may not have full sync capabilities for all Edge features (especially for advanced sync settings or policies).

Verify that the correct Microsoft 365 licenses are assigned to users for enabling sync in Microsoft Edge. You may need a higher tier license, such as Microsoft 365 Enterprise (E3 or E5), for full functionality with syncing across all devices.

The problem was solved by setting Enterprise State Roaming.
