Subject: Request for Refund - Unauthorized Charge After Azure Free Trial Expiration

Dear Microsoft Azure Support Team,

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding a charge to our company manager's account.

I signed up for the Azure free trial subscription to explore and learn the platform as a student. The subscription was clearly stated as free for one month. However, after the trial expired, I was unexpectedly charged day by day Pakistani 5 thousand rupees

I would like to clarify the following:

  • The free trial subscription was meant for educational purposes only.
  • After the expiration of the free trial, I did not consent to any paid subscription or usage.
  • I did not upgrade or change the subscription plan that would authorize such a charge.

This incident has caused considerable distress, especially since I am a student and the charge was made to my company manager's account. I kindly request a refund of the charged amount, as this seems to be a misunderstanding or an error.

I would be grateful if you could review my account and usage records to confirm the situation. I have attached any relevant details or proof of the charge to assist in resolving this matter quickly.

Account details:

  • Name: Muhammad Qaisar Afridi
  • Email associated with the Azure account: ******@gmail.com
  • Charge Date: after expiration
  • Amount Charged: $150 total 40 thousand Pakistani rupees

Please let me know if you require any further details or documents to process the refund. I trust that this matter can be resolved promptly, and I appreciate your assistance in advance.

Thank you for your attention to this issue.

Sincerely,

Muhammed Qaisar Afridi
