For Web sign-in for Windows configured through Intune, the action when closing the lid does not work

Hi everyone!

After applying the web login settings, the action of closing the lid stopped working, while it is also set in the configuration, and in the control panel is displayed correctly, but the action does not happen. Forced setting of parameters via powershell, oma-uri did not give any results, although the selection was changed.

It turned out that if you use login via pin code or password with cached data, everything works, but web login does not.

As far as security is concerned, it is important for us to use a tool where we need an Internet connection, Windows Hello and password are not suitable for our tasks and they are turned off. The question is how to make the web login work with power and lock settings. Maybe there is a separate setting that equates web login as a full login method and interacts with all system settings?

@Bill Line, Thanks for posting in Q&A.

From your description, I know you have configured web sign-in, and it applied to device but the action of closing the lid stopped working.

Since the setting in control panel are properly stetted, it seems this problem may be related to Windows, and it is recommended that you seek more help from Windows support.
