Can I use Azure Text-to-Speech to generate mp3 for commercial use?

I want to use Azure TTS for commercial use in my enterprise.

I'm going to create a file for offline use and include it in my app.

To do this, I'm going to use Create Audio Content to export an MP3.

  1. I want to know if I can create mp3 file using the free (F0) tier or if I need to use pay-as-you-go.
  2. And if it's pay-as-you-go, do I still need to maintain my subscription after I create the file?
  3. Finally, do I need to indicate to the user that I used Azure TTS voice?

Thank you.

@SeongHak Ahn Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum, Thank you for posting your query here!

    .

Yes, you can use the audio output from TTS for commercial purposes, provided you are using a valid standard (paid) pricing tier, such as the Pay-as-you-go tier. No special license or authorization is required for using this service output. However, please adhere to the Code of Conduct for text-to-speech integrations as outlined by Microsoft Docs.

If you are currently using a free account or credit, you should upgrade to the Pay-as-you-go tier.

You do not need to seek permission, obtain a license, or pay royalties to Microsoft for using the output files generated from your resource, as long as you use your own content as input to the service. Please ensure you follow the responsible guidelines listed here when using synthetic voices in your applications and make proper disclosures.

    .

Hope this helps. If you have any follow-up questions, please let me know. I would be happy to help.
