Actions required after modifying the detection method

An error 0X87D00324 occurs when I deploying an application, indicating that the detection method is incorrect. After checking and modifying the detection method, is it necessary to re-deploy the application following the modification?

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    In my experience, we have not to re-deploy the application after modifying the detection method, after the client get the policy(one hour by default), it will update the status of the deployment.
