Cannot REFRESH Excel spreadsheet information

I added information onto my Excel spreadsheet. I have a Pivot table set up to organize the data in table I have set up. This table is for daily spending through the month, the total amount that shows up in the table is more than what shows in the pivot table. When I try to Refresh, the pivot table does not look like it is updating with all the visible information in the table.

Am I missing something, or has something changed in Excel?

    What kind of data source did you use?

    If you create the PivotTable from another Workbook, please open the Workbook and refresh data.
