    Hello,

If you are planning to move the taskbar completely to the right, unfortunately, this is not supported. However, if you want the menus to be aligned to the left or centered, you can achieve this by following the steps below.

    1. Right-click a blank area on the taskbar, then click Taskbar settings
    2. The Settings app will open to Personalization. Click the Taskbar behaviors dropdown to see more settings.
    3. From here, you can set the Taskbar alignment to Right or Left

We don't talk about alignment of icons on taskbar. We need whole taskbar aligned verticaly to right and/or left side of display. Didn't it ocure to anyone, that it's an issue for users? So many deleted comments should ring a bell or two, that it generates some emotional responces.

As for me, it looks like can't use third party software to remedy it, since constant changes in system generates errors i can't afford. I lose hours monthly on looking for taskbar. It's plain insane. I've seen fair share of companys that forcably drive away customers. Trouble is that monopoly on operating systems made Microsoft bully everyone around.

Guess the right answer for that is to revert to Windows 7 and Office 2016 on Linux virtual machine. That's what I recommend for my company. Good i made backups of all needed files.

    Hi Jagdish More, Atul (Cognizant),

Thanks for your post. Please understand the taskbar alignment setting in the Personalization only supports Left or Center currently. This is by design. I would suggest you provide your feedback using Windows 10 feedback app. You can open the Edge, press Shift+Alt+I to feedback the uservoice to the develop team. Thanks a lot for your understanding.

    Best Regards,

    Ian Xue

    Hi Jagdish,

Windows 11 does not directly support moving the taskbar to the sides without third-party tools. However, you can try third-party tools like TaskbarX or wait for a potential update.

    I hope it helps.
