Levelling up Azure credits on MS Founders Hub

We are a startup part of the Microsoft for Startups programme. I have been trying to get to the next level of Azure credits on the programme but currently not getting anywhere with that even after raising a support ticket and escalating multiple times. We met all the advertised prerequisites to move to the next level but the "Azure Engagement" score, a recent addition the levelling up system. is said to be requiring improvement. However, this is no actual "score" we can see and the information around it is very vague. We can't tell from Founders Hub or from everything shared with us on the support emails that tells us what is missing from our Azure usage, no clarity on what to next, what actually needs improving.

To note, we're building entirely on the MS stack, including Azure and M365. We use an extensive set of Azure services, including AI services. We also have multiple integrations with MS Teams. So basically, we are left in the dark in terms of what need improving on our use of Azure or other MS products that would get our Azure engagement score up to get to the next level of Azure credits.

Any pointers on how to resolve this?

Thanks

    Hi Achraf Murtada,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

To qualify for an extension of your Azure credits, you'll need to reach the next level based on your current level by meeting the following criteria: Get More Benefits FAQs

In the meantime, please focus on improving your engagement score.

The Engagement score is not available for accounts with Azure credit offers of $5,000 or less. This tile will display “No score available.”

The Engagement score will start to calculate for accounts with Azure credit offers of $25,000 or more within the first three months of being accepted into the program or approved for the next credit offer. During this time, you see “No score available.” On month four, the score will populate and guide you to keep building and try new Azure services.

To increase your Engagement, consider using more Azure tools and services, including:

    • Reviewing and optimizing your Azure infrastructure.
    • Trying out AI features in the Build with AI tab.
    • Exploring business tools in the Benefits tab of Founders Hub.
    • Connecting with an Azure engineer for personalized advice on your projects.

The more you build and experiment on Azure, the higher your Engagement score can grow.

Yes, the score looks at all Azure usage not just credits usage.

Could you please share the support ticket number with us? This will allow us to check internally and assist you in resolving the issue.

Please reach out to us if you have any other queries.
