Authenticator app

An employee of mine deleted her Authenticator app on her phone. She then reset her password. As she's trying to sign onto her Teams, it's asking her to verify the code on her Authenticator app on her phone.

She downloaded the app again and to try to authenticate herself for Teams. The Authenticator App is asking her to provide the verification code, but she CAN'T since she's using her phone to sign into the app itself.

    Hello Stella Luu,

If she is in your tenant andyou are the IT admin you can reset the account to re-require MFA.

However if not, She needs to contact support.

Are there alternative methods for verifying identity in case the Authenticator app is inaccessible, and how can organizations prepare for such situations?
