I am seeing an odd error in the application log

Error, Event ID 0, Source Microsoft Teams VDI

however the general description says "The operation completed successfully"

I an running on Windows 2022 server in a non-persistent VDI environment. Delivered by Citrix XenApp, running latest version of FsLogix, on VMWare ESXi with latest VMWare Tools installed.

The data references a plug-in. The only component that makes me think of is the Teams Meeting Add-in, which appears to be functioning.

any feedback is appreciated

Thank you for your replies. I just want to clarify: HDX Optimization Pack is a program that is available for Skype, it is not used for Teams. Teams HDX optimization is handled by the VDA and Workspace app, no other program is necessary for Teams to work in Citrix VDI.

I will investigate each of the suggestions. A version conflict is possible since I have wide range of Workspace versions accessing my VDI environment. I profile problem seems unlikely, but I need to verify the error is being generated by all users and not just a handful.

I have not found a cause. I can say it is generated for all my users when the app launches. I wonder if it is related to the Office plugin attempting to install

I think this is related to SlimCore. I'm currently troubleshooting why the plugin doesn't seem to work, and whilst I get an Error event of 0, the XML information provided insight into the issue. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/vdi-2#troubleshooting-slimcorevdi-msix-deployment-errors

to answer Lijitha B question, I have not made any progress. It affects all users and happens anytime Teams is launched. This typically happens at session launch, but can occur if you close Teams and reopen

I am not using slimcore, at least not yet. Citrix just released support for slimicore and I have not yet implemented it yet. It is certainly something I can more forward to

I have not found a solution. The problem affects all users and happens when Teams is launched. I can reproduce it if I close and reopen Teams

I do not believe I am using slimcore yet. Citrix just release support for the software and I need to get everything updated to support it.

This is the same for me, with the Teams application. I don't believe I have anyone with Teams issues though as a result, do you? The difference is that we use Windows 10 Multi-Session in Azure. Not that, that really matters. The problem is that there is no Client side Teams Plugin, or the MSTeamsVDI.dll is missing in the ICA Directory. I am working on a situation that has been vexing me for weeks. I am running on-prem Windows 2022 published desktops. My users have been seeing momentary freezing (15-30 seconds) of the applications in the session (office, chrome, explorer).

I am just chasing down errors in the logs, grasping for a cause. This is probably a red herring

If it ends up that the error regarding Teams is a red herring, have you been able to reproduce the freezing in a Console Session as opposed to an ICA session? What version of CVAD are you using? What's the VDA Agent version?

Brokers are 2311 while the VDA is 2402. I am in the process of upgrading the Brokers. The problem started before going to 2402 VDA

The problem is random and can take a while to manifest. I have not tried running my session out of the console, however, I have been running if from an RDP session for the last couple of days and the problem still occurs

We are having the same issue but we have AVD instead of Citrix. I'm running windows 11 hosts in Azure and when we get this error the whole session freezes and I have to physically reboot the thin client to get back in, it's maddening.
