WSUS on Windows server 2022 not connecting during wizard

Question

So I am having this issue when installing my WSUS server. When going through the Configuration Wizard, I keep running into this problem where it does not want to sync.

The only error messages i get are these:

The WSUS administration console has encountered an unexpected error. This may be a transient error; try restarting the administration console. If this error persists,

Try removing the persisted preferences for the console by deleting the wsus file under %appdata%\Microsoft\MMC.

System.FormatException -- The specified text did not contain a token for the specified linkIndex.

I have tried to reinstall the service and reinstalling the server it self, but the error persists. Some help would be appreciated

Hello,

1. Try to remove "Allow Unlisted File Name Extensions" option.
