New Surface Pro 11 does not send video through Surface Dock 2

I currently have a Surface Pro 7 connected to a Surface Dock 2 (2 months old) with an external monitor (USB-C to HDMI), wired network, etc. Everything works great.

I just purchased a Surface Pro 11. Same set up. But when I connect the Surface Pro 11 to the Dock, I get no video to the monitor.

What might be the issue?

The Surface Dock 2 is compatible with both the Surface Pro 11 (ARM-based) and the Surface Pro 7 (Intel-based), but there are key differences in their architecture and software environments that may lead to issues.

Ensure the Surface Pro 11 and the Surface Dock 2 have the latest drivers and firmware updates installed.

Ensure you're connecting the monitor to one of the two USB-C ports on the back of the Dock and not a USB-A port.
