Asp.net Core RDLC Report Error:IndexOutOfRangeException

An error is coming in the RDLC report. It works when I run the project and go to see the report for any of the controllers. If I then go to see another controller's report, the error comes up. That is, after running the project, only one controller's report is visible.

If I want to see the report of another controller, I have to run the program again.

Is it possible to solve this problem? It would be helpful if experienced people could help. record_1

The IndexOutOfRangeException happens when code tries to access an element of an array by index but there is no element at that index.

Unfortunately, the error message flashes too quickly to see the stack trace or if the error has the line of code that started the exception. Also, you did not share any code so we cannot review the code.

Perhaps you can set a breakpoint and step through your code to find the bug.

I'm not confident the code you share is where the exception is thrown. Perhaps the error message shows the line of code that throws the error? Or maybe you could try setting a breakpoint and stepping through the code to find the bug.

Thanks Try For me.

When I first run the program and went to see the RDLC report of a controller, no error occurred. Works fine. When the problem arises - this error appears when I go to view the RDLC report of another controller or another page after viewing the report of one controller.

Please see the attached image. First I was in Sell controller(

If I close and Run the program first in the 
SellDetails controller(https://localhost:44336/Sell/SeleDetails)
 there is no error. But then if I want to see the 
Sell controller(https://localhost:44336/sell)
 report then this  shows error.

The main problem is that if i want to see the report of each page, I have to close and restart the program every time. When viewing the report of one page, if the program is running, the report of the other page is not working.

So the error appears when var report = localreport.Execute(RenderType.Pdf, ext, parmetars); does the execute method do something related to arrary access?

I'm confused why you are purposely making it so difficult for the community to hep you. I had to use a GIF extractor to view the error message and even then I cannot see the entire error. Secondly, you started this thread with an IndexOutOfRangeException exception now you have a null exception exception and totally different code.

If I had to guess, one of the variables in your most recent code (extracted screenshot) is null.

In my opinion, a null exceptions is the easiest bug find. Set a break point on the line of code that throws the exception. Use the locals debugger window or mouse over the variables to find the null reference. Once you know what is null then it is usually pretty easy to figure out why the variable is not populated.
