RDS Per Device CAL issues

Hi, I have a RDP issue with one user - in RD Licensing Manager I see that Windows Server 2016 - Installed RDS Per Device CAL issued to his laptop expired on December 5, hence I revoked it (I do not know why expired CAL wasn't automatically revoked/replaced). However, he still has issues with RDP.

What can be done here?

NOTE: Recently colleague upgraded RD Licensing Server to Windows Server 2022 so maybe that caused issue above (expired CALs still present).

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Here are some steps that we can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1.Verify that if the RD Licensing Server is correctly configured and licenses are properly installed.

2.Restart the RD Licensing Service on both the server and the client.

3.Check if there's any network connectivity issue between the client and server.

4.Try uninstalling and reinstalling the CALs on the licensing server and check if issue still persists.

To help other customers who may be facing the same issue, please don't forget to vote if the reply is helpful.

    Best Regards
