Two Conditional Access policies with same settings

Question

There are two conditional Access policies. Policy1MFA and Policy2MFA. Both the conditional policies have exact same configurations settings. There is a user who is part of both the Conditional Access policies. Which one will apply?

Hi @Prabhat Mehra ,

if you have more than one Conditional Access Policy with the same or different configuration settings defined for the same user the following will happen:

• All associated Conditional Access Policy will be applied (in no particular order)
• The configuration settings will be merged and applied. It doesn't matter if the configuration settings are the same or different.
