To narrow down this issue, may I know the operations that you did before this error appear? Does this error appear on all the projects or only appear on the specific project?

Kindly try following and let us know if this error disappears:

Reboot your machine, directly launch VS, open and run your project.

Remove the bin, obj and the hidden .vs folder in your solution folder then rebuild your project.

Run VS as administrator.

May I know if this issue persists? If it persists, could you tell us the project type and the programming language that you are using?

Does "start without debugging"(Debug => Start Without Debugging) work? If your application can be executed directly, I suggest you try to find and run the .exe file in the project folder. Confirm if it can be executed manually without any errors.

Besides, are you using any extensions? If so, does updating or disabling them work?
