Free SQL MI stops after 2 weeks

I have VS Enterprise (MPN) subscription.

I created a SQL MI but after two weeks it stopped and complained that I have reached monthly free limit.

I deleted the existing SQL MI and recreated another but it also stopped within 30 mins, complaining on free tiers not available.

Also how can I resolve this issue going forward.

Can you please clarify that when selected 'Apply Free' it should give 720 hours of free compute every month, correct ?

Hi there Khizer Hayat

Thanks for using QandA plaftorm

The SQL MI free tier in Azure gives u 720 hours of free compute per month for eligible subscriptions, including Visual Studio Enterprise. But, if your usage exceeds this monthly limit or you configure instances outside the free tier specifications, the service will stop, displaying an error about free tiers being unavailable.

This could also happenn if multiple instances are created, etcs, verify your subscription usage in the Azure portal to so thatt you have not exceeded the free tier quota. also check, tht the SQL MI instance is configured strictly within the free tier specification. If everything seems to be perfect i suggest you to raise a support req link below

If this helps kindly accept the answer thanks much.
