I want to gee the refund as my PL-400 exam to cancelled as my id card was rejected by proctor due to old photo.

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and anger regarding the unexpected cancellation of my PL-400: Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions exam scheduled for 16-12-2024 on PearsonVue Platform. 

This cancellation was due to the proctor's claim that my photo on the ID card I presented does not sufficiently match my current appearance. This is unacceptable and deeply frustrating and borderline offensive for several reasons:

  • Lack of Clear Guidelines: The guidelines regarding acceptable photo IDs and their appearance are vague and inconsistent. There were no specific instructions or warnings about potential issues with my photo prior to the exam.
  • Disruption and Lost Time: This cancellation has caused significant disruption to my exam preparation schedule and wasted valuable time. I had invested considerable effort in studying for this exam, and this abrupt cancellation has severely impacted my progress.
  • Lack of Flexibility: I was not offered any immediate alternative solutions, such as rescheduling the exam with short notice or alternative ID verification methods.

I request that you urgently investigate this matter and take the following actions:

  • Immediate Rescheduling: Refund my PL-400 exam fees at the earliest possible convenience, preferably within the next 5 days.
  • Clarify ID Requirements: Provide clear and concise guidelines regarding acceptable photo IDs and their appearance to avoid future disruptions for other candidates.
