I changed phones and did not have a backup to my accounts in Authenticator (had no idea that option existed). So, I am now in the "infinity loop" with Authenticator with every sign-in option. I have tried all the suggestions I have been able to find in searches up to this point.

How can I bypass Authenticator? Or is it possible to have a tech support turn off TFA in my account? I am the only account holder, therefore the only global admin.

Please help, this happened the day after I launched my company, and I have had no access to my files, documents or email for a week!!!

I have spent too many hours of my days on the hold with "Support." Today alone I logged 6 hours and 45 minutes on hold and yet nobody answered. It's like a bad episode of the Twilight Zone. I just want it fixed so I can access all my data and put it in a safer place where I have control over my own access!!!!!

Unfortunately, I already know the solution. Requires someone on Microsoft's end to disable MFA and 2FA on my account which will allow me to login without an Authenticator requirement.

Now the hard part, getting someone on their end to actually answer the phone. Once they do, hopefully get a "tech" who is understands English and can effectively communicate with you.

For me, after a week of calling and calling I finally had someone return my call. The "tech's" solution was to "RESET MFA". Let me tell you, THAT DID NOT WORK!!! It must be disabled. He did not stay on the line to confirm if my problem was resolved. Now I am stuck starting this process all over again to open another case and eventually speak to another "tech" and hopefully get the "tech" to follow my instructions since they don't really know anything more that the troubleshooting list that is accessible to everyone in the world.
