I missed my exam due to timezone difference

On December 18, 2024, I logged on to PearsonVue at 5:00 PM South Africa time to write my MB-920 exam, only to realize it had been scheduled for 5:15 AM.

I was confident at the time of booking that the exam was scheduled for after work, as that time slot worked best for me.

I even went through the exam booking process, but it stopped at and stated that the candidate already has an open registration (image attached).

Could you please advise how I can reschedule the exam I missed? Thank you.

Reschedule or Cancel Prior to the Exam

• You can reschedule or cancel an exam up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment without incurring additional fees.

To manage your exam:

• Log in to your Microsoft Certification Dashboard via Pearson VUE: Microsoft Certification Dashboard.
• Navigate to the Manage Pearson VUE Exams section.

Select your scheduled exam under the "Upcoming Appointments" menu and reschedule or cancel as needed.

2. Missed Exam Policy

• If the exam appointment is missed, the exam fee is forfeited, and rescheduling is only possible 24 hours after the missed appointment.
  • Missing the exam does not result in a "fail" status on your record.
