Hi,

In our Azure virtual Desktop environnement, after each user's login on a session hosts, we see the same 3 errors from AppModel-State in the event viewer.

I am using a Windows 11 24H2 Multisessions Office 365 avd microsoft image. Our host pool is RemoteApp only, no full desktop.

For each user that logs on the machine using Remote App on the Windows App, I see this Error and those two warnings.

Error: Failure to load the application settings for package Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy
Warning1: Failure to load the application settings for package Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy

Warning2: Repair of state locations for operation SettingsInitialize against package Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy with error -2147009096 returned Error Code: 0

I have tried the following guides:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/troubleshoot/authentication/automatic-authentication-fails
and this one
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/troubleshoot/authentication/cannot-sign-in-microsoft-365-desktop-apps

The thing is, that the users do not experience any issues or error. I am trying to get to the bottom of theses.

Thanks

    Hi @MarcAF,

    Thank you for your patience.

Based on the error details you shared; I have found troubleshooting steps that I felt will help resolve the issue you reported.

Try closing all Office apps and then clearing the %localappdata%\Microsoft\TokenBroker\Cache folder. One of those TBRES files contains the token for the Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin.

Problem it may cause due to having Anti-virus software's.

I would recommend you refer to the link given below, which discusses the similar issue and might help you out- https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/microsoftaadbrokerplugincw5n1h2txyewy-error/fe8936e7-1475-4bb9-917a-9f5387e16abb

This can be closed since it was an FSLogix Known Issue and was addressed in the new version.
