In the SCCM server, I attempted to connect to a device via RDP but encountered an error message stating "Target account name is incorrect." Additionally, the error "RPC server is unavailable (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)" was also observed.

What troubleshooting steps have you done? did you check DNS? is the device online? Does the Firewall have the ports open?

    Hi, @Neeraj

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

To troubleshoot these issues, consider the following steps:

    1. Verify that the DNS settings are correct.
    2. Check that the time and time zone settings are accurate on both the client and server.
    3. Ensure that the "TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper" and "Remote Registry" services are running and set to start automatically.
    4. Confirm that the account used for the RDP connection has the necessary permissions and is correctly configured.
