How we open a live event and set the 'Live Event Permissions' to 'People and groups: Only the specified people and groups can watch the live event', and grant permission to a particular group, why can't the members of that group access the live event?

@JulieMardersdw214

When you set "Live Event Permissions" to "People and Groups" and grant permissions to a specific group, the reasons why group members cannot access the live event may include:

  1. Group membership is not updated: Make sure that the identities of all group members have been correctly synchronized to Microsoft 365.
  2. Cache problem: Try to clear the Teams client cache and then log in to Teams again, or you can use the browser privacy mode to log in to Teams.
  3. Permission setting error: Confirm that you have added the group correctly and the email addresses of group members are correct.
