Azure SQL Database export operation stuck at cancelling

Azure SQL Database export operation stuck at

EXPORT DATABASE

Cancelling in progress: 50%

Some 4-5 Hours already, deleted the storage account it was going to be exported to and server is set to private network access already

This maybe due to the deletion of the storage account and the server being set to private network access., check the database's status using the Azure portal make sure it is still functional.

If the issue continous i suggest you to, raise a support ticket with Azure Support to forcibly terminate the operation link below

It was stuck on 50% before the deletion of the storage account!
Is says one should delete the storage account and change firewall access.
There is a resource lock preventing the private endpoint connection from being deleted, maybe that's it?
I used private link to create it, was stuck at 1% and cancelled it

Tthanks for the info with the resource lock preventing the deletion of the private endpoint connection. the export process depends on consistent access to resources, and removing them mid-operation can cause it to hang possibly. The resource lock on the private endpoint might be blocking the necessary changes, preventing the operation from canceling properly. try removing the resource lock, temporarily adjusting the network settings to allow public access.

removed resource lock and deleted connection, can't allow public access over policy, don't have option to support request!

Correction, removing the connection worked! Operation now concluded!
