RDCMan Full-Screen Mode Not Functioning Properly When Maximized

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an issue with Remote Desktop Connection Manager (RDCMan). When the RDCMan window is maximized, full-screen mode doesn’t work as expected. It leaves a reserved space at the bottom for the taskbar, preventing the remote desktop session from occupying the full screen.

Interestingly, when the RDCMan window is in minimized mode, the full-screen mode works properly, and the remote desktop session fills the entire screen as intended.

Is there any way to make full-screen mode work correctly even when the RDCMan window is maximized? Are there any settings, tweaks, or fixes to avoid this issue?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

    Hello,

Please try the following methods to see if they work.

    Adjust RDCMan Settings:

Modify the remote desktop settings within RDCMan to match your local resolution or enable fullscreen mode.

    Use "Same as Client Area":

Select the "Same as client area" option in RDCMan to match the remote desktop resolution to your local client area.

    Update Software and Protocol:

Ensure you have the latest versions of RDCMan and the Remote Desktop Protocol to resolve any compatibility or bug issues.
