As a university professor I see my students facing the same error very often. This happens with almost all US regions and some other regions around the world also. The regions where my students tend to have more success creating Azure SQL servers are South India, South Central US, UK South, and Australia Southeast.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi @Nitin Sharma

The error is likely caused by a capacity limitation in the selected region for creating the server or could be restricted to create free trail server in that region.

If there are no constraints on using other regions, you can try deploying the server in a different region. Otherwise, you will need to open a support case to request capacity allocation for your subscription.

You can please follow the steps mentioned in this document https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-sql/database/quota-increase-request?view=azuresql to create a request to allot your quota in the region you are trying to deploy the server.

    Thank You!
