Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to use the MS Learn Sandbox for a module, but I keep running into this annoying error message:
“The sandbox for this module is currently unavailable. We're working to resolve this as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you may be able to complete this module's exercises using your personal subscription, but charges may apply and you may have to modify the instructions for your subscription.”
Has anyone else run into this? Is there a way to fix it? If you’ve figured out a workaround (other than jumping into my personal subscription and risking charges), I’d really appreciate the advice.

Getting the same. The workaround linked by Oury also now appears to be broken, but from the comments there it seems to still be being investigated.
I hope it's fixed soon, I put aside some time over the holidays to get this done and am rapidly running out of holiday! :D

Its been 16 days, perhaps more, that this has been down. I don't think there is any hope that it will be fixed soon. They can't even give an ETA or even affirm it is a top priority for their team. It makes me wonder what has caused this outage.
Out of holiday now; and no, it doesn't really inspire confidence in Azure.

I am sorry to hear about the issue you are facing with MS Learn Sandbox.
Seems looks like it is a known issue and there is ongoing work for a fix / resolution for the issue.
Please try the workaround suggested by TP in this thread for now and let us know if that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve actually already tried the troubleshooting steps (restarting, clearing cache, different browsers—you name it), but the issue persists.
If it’s an ongoing fix on Microsoft’s end, I guess I’ll just have to wait it out. Appreciate the response, though!
This has been an issue since at least Dec 20, 2024, perhaps earlier. On other threads the MSFT vendor claims they are "working on it". They won't give any ETA and won't even say it is a priority to fix. Quite often they close down threads with a link to solutions that they know will not work since the lab is down.
Oury, do you know if the vendor has any ETA for this issue or have this at any priority. 14 days or more of downtime seems to be quite long....

Yes, this is definitely an issue from past 10+ days. It feels like this is the lowest priority for the MS which is evident from proper lack of response and workarounds.

It might be working for you but not for others, the screenshot below is from this morning:
