been over a year and still crackling audio on every PC around the world. Anyone who attempts to quiz you on this gets shut down or ignored. and blamed on drivers or faulty hardware What is going on?

Your own technicians are clueless. Mainly as most of them can barely reinstall a Realtek driver when taking over your PC.

7061208668 that ticket was abysmal. and forced closed even the feedback screen when he couldnt fix my issue which I explained It was impossible too.

If your going to try and please "fix my issue" please read the original post in the link above. £1500+ has been spent on advice of your technicians to fix the issue.

If this receives to replies il have to take this a step further.

Your im not counting but im going to say maybe 112th person over the past year to suggest the same things without looking at what I have attempted.

I read through them, and I see your frustration, but a lot of your comments are basically: "I've got a Ryzen this, and a Gigabyte that, and I tried this and I tried that..." We don't have any way to recreate your hardware setup. We don't have any way to know what your computers are doing.

My 2 Win11 laptops work fine. My old Win10 desktop will crackle at times but that an issue with the 30-year-old speakers and the rats nest of wires that I have running under the desk. Even that goes away and the audio is fine.

If the root cause of the problem was some inherent bug in Windows, then I would expect to see thousands of posts on the net complaining about it. The Windows developers/testers/QA themselves would see the problem.

I've got an 80 year old neighbor and every time he has a problem, he calls me on the phone and starts describing what his pc is doing. Almost always I say "stop, stop, I'll come down in a few minutes". Then I walk to his house and sit in front of pc and look around to see what he's done. It's just easier that way. There's no way that he could tell me everything that I might need to know over the phone.

We've got the same issue here where we try our best to help users, but we're limited by the back and forth, question and answer, text/image medium of this forum.

Since no one replied to your first question, I decided to reply to this one and see if I could help you. My thought was to see if we could isolate the problem. If you just want to vent your frustration, then that's fine, I'll go do something else. I do not work for Microsoft.

You commented "I tested my friends PC his does the exact same". Are these all custom builds? Do you know someone who has an HP/Dell/Lenovo? Either a laptop or a desktop. Do those pcs exhibit the same problem?

Based on "appeared around 6 Months ago", then maybe it's environmental. Do you live somewhere close to a lot of power lines? Or an electrical substation? Or a cell phone tower? Or some foreign nation's embassy?

Do you know someone who lives a few miles away where you could take your pc there to see if it still had the same problem? Or someone who has a laptop who could bring it to your house to test?

Well formatting on a lot of posts went down the drain so the specs end up convoluted. no as HP and Dell are horrendous vendors. Dell Less so. And Shouldnt change the fact 4x Pcs having this issue, and there sole creation to fix this issueThe post you read saying appeared 6 months ago is old now. So its been a year.

I have changed properties 3X since this issue began, Across the UK.

out of desperation of getting no replies from Microsoft support forum. I used Microsoft assist to get someone from windows to attempt to fix the issue (able to take over your PC via assist) Proceeded to ignore my posts of all the things I had tried and attempted.

Went to reinstall the audio drivers (depsite me telling him repeatedly this will have no effect but if not worsen the issue) and when that didnt work as I said. He then said I got a broken motherboard. Considering I have tried 5+ Motherboards this year and Refunded 2x of them from just testing alone. I listed the motherboard I have bought, and therefor it wasn't a hardware issue, And if he wanted to recommend a 6th motherboard Directly from Microsoft il be obliged to send Microsoft a bill for it when it inevitably doesn't fix the issue.

He then closed the support Ticket, and while taking over my PC ( I had no choice to stop him) He closed his dialogue chat, and closed the feedback chat.

Everything humanly possible has been done to fix this issue, And I CAN find multiple people with the same issue that cant seem to fix the issue despite building new computers.

one of 2 of my friends Pc's who doesn't have this issue, is a older 8th gen intel system with OLD OLD drivers from 2018. Tried his drivers and set up to mirror on mine, Still have the issue.

From Changing power settings, to building a new PC multiple times, to new monitors and speakers, its all to no avail.

I have no idea what's wrong with your pc's.

Here are some thoughts I had that you could try if you haven't done so already.

Boot into the BIOS and turn off hyper-threading or any other CPU virtualization options. Turn off anything that looks like it might be bleeding edge new "stuff" that might impact timing, power, or memory access.

Boot into "safe mode without networking". Play some mp3's or do something to see if the problem exists in that mode.

Hook up some Bluetooth headphones or speakers and see if they have the same problem.

If you're reinstalling Windows, then use an older version if you have access to one. Don't apply any updates and test.

Windows Auto updates are a pain for it. Im 100% its windows. And tried many things, Recently even changed the PCI latency to no avail.

I also searched for the Feedback Hub and found several users upvote and comment on that post and all the other posts about this issue (just press the Windows key + F on your Windows machine to open Feedback Hub, then look up "tags" and you should find them).

Already made multiple Microsoft support posts sadly. Could you please maybe push this issue further with support? As i am no longer receiving replies.
