Outlook delete based on date

Hello,

I export all mailbox (inbox, sent and deleted) for 2023 period successfully to the pst and after exported i can see the mail from 2023 is still in the mailbox.

How we can search all mail for 2023 period and move to some folder, so i can delete this folder permanently?

According to your description, you want to search for all emails in 2023 and move them to a folder. You can try the following steps to achieve the effect:

1. Select the search folder in the Outlook client, right-click and select New, and select Custom Search Folder. As shown in the screenshot:
2. In the newly created search folder, set the condition to a fixed date. As shown in the screenshot:
3. If you want to delete these messages, use Ctrl+A to select all emails, right-click and select Delete.

Use search folders exactly as advised by Jenne Li-MSFT.

To bulk delete, right-click on the folder and select Delete.

Then delete the emails from the Deleted Items folder as well.

The size of the PST file will not decrease when you delete emails.
Compress the PST file if necessary (this will take a long time).
