Bought new phone and traded in the other at the store, need Admin access back with Authenticator

I traded in my iphone 14 at the store and bought a new iphone 16. I have iCloud backup selected in my MS Authenticator app and figured it would be pretty easy to restore all my accounts from within the app using what was backed up to iCloud. I am the sole Admin on a small O365 account and now can't login to admin.microsoft.com as I need 2FA with Authenticator. I went to the Authenticator app with my new phone - old phone is gone now - and it shows additional information needed (action required) and wants a QR code - well, can't get get to that now. I didn't notice it in the store as it was the last account in the list of about 18 accounts and didn't scroll down. I apparently didn't setup SMS authentication as a backup access as it's not listed as an option to recover my account - even though I'm pretty sure my cell is listed on the account, I must not have done the verification it wanted for the SMS method. I've been on hold with North America support with Microsoft for nearly an hour and been hung up on once already and haven't spoken to anyone. Is there another method I don't know about in getting Admin access back to the account? I don't know if I'll get hung up on again or not. It's frustrating that I almost have all the pieces of this puzzle, but really no way to get them all to line up so I can get logged in again.
