You can't directly get a Silverlight plug-in for the current version of Microsoft Edge. Here's why:

    • Microsoft Edge (Chromium): The current version of Edge is based on the open-source Chromium project, which does not support Silverlight.
    • Silverlight Discontinued: Microsoft has officially discontinued support for Silverlight.

However, there might be a workaround:

    • IE Mode in Edge: If the website you're trying to access requires Silverlight, you might be able to use "IE Mode" within Microsoft Edge. This feature allows you to run certain websites in a compatibility mode that mimics the behavior of Internet Explorer 11.
      • Enable IE Mode: Go to Edge settings, find the "Default browser" section, and enable "Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode."
      • Use IE Mode: When you visit the Silverlight-based website, you should see an option to reload it in IE Mode.

    Important Notes:

    • Limited Support: IE Mode is a temporary solution and may not work with all Silverlight applications.
    • Security Risks: Using IE Mode might expose you to security vulnerabilities that have been patched in more modern browsers.

    Alternatives:

    • Contact Website Owner: If possible, contact the website owner and inquire about alternative options, such as a HTML5-based version of the website.
    • Use an Alternative Browser: Consider using an older version of Internet Explorer or another browser that still supports Silverlight (if available).

    I hope this helps!
