I want to add a Vnet to my APP Service access restrictions, but I was blocked by LinkedAuthorizationFailed because of lacking permission on "joinViaServiceEdnpoint/action"

As document mentioned, the "joinViaServiceEdnpoint/action" only required when adding a virtual network (service endpoint) rule.

The Vnet I want to add to the cofig already have "Microsoft/Web" service endpoint.
So why I need this permission to add the vnet to my app service?

Hi @Xindi Li , it is mentioned explicitly in Permissions to Add an access restriction rule that "Microsoft.Network/virtualNetworks/subnets/joinViaServiceEndpoint/action" permission is required when adding a virtual network (service endpoint) rule to an App Service.

You tried to add a virtual network (service endpoint) rule to your App Service. You got an error message as you didn't have that permission. That's consistent with what the document mentioned, isn't it?
