I'm using the pre-built ID processing model on DocumentIntelligence.

When I try to use Query fields (both in the UI and through code), the REST calls just infinitely load and I never get an answer. I know the issue is with query fields because, when I use the same call for the same document without query fields, it gives me a result.

I also think this is a newer issue, because I remember that this worked a month ago.

Query fields in Azure Document Intelligence allow extending the schema of prebuilt or custom models without additional training by dynamically extracting specific fields. To use query fields, ensure the 2024-11-30 (GA) API version or later is specified, along with the queryFields feature and a list of field names in camel case or Pascal case.

Issues with infinite loading may arise due to incorrect API versions, region compatibility, or timeout settings. Validate logs for errors and explicitly set a timeout to avoid long waits. The latest query fields implementation is cost-effective, and examples in Python and REST API demonstrate how to configure requests properly. If the issue persists, ensure the endpoint region supports query fields or test with a simpler document.

I am using the 2024-11-30 (GA) API version and still have infinite loads. Can you confirm that if the query fields feature works as expected? I have tried with multiple regions as well and with no luck.

The only luck I've had is with the prebuilt model of invoices. It never works with the prebuilt ID model.
Is it possible to check if there's any issues with the ID model?

The issue seems specific to the prebuilt ID model, as query fields are supported with the 2024-11-30 (GA) API version for Layout and other Prebuilt models but may not yet be fully compatible with the ID model. This aligns with documentation noting exceptions for certain models, like US tax forms. Since query fields work with the invoice model but not IDs, this could indicate a limitation. To confirm, check Azure logs for any errors, still if you face any errors, please raise a support request through the Azure portal.
