Purview connection to Microsoft fabric

Currently, Purview does not support 'Classification' and 'Labelling' MS fabric items. Can we expect this functionally anytime soon?

Currently, Microsoft Purview does support classification and labeling for Microsoft Fabric items using sensitivity label

If you're not seeing this functionality, it might be due to specific permissions or setup requirements.

However, if you're referring to additional or enhanced features beyond the current capabilities, there hasn't been an official announcement about new functionalities being added soon. Thanks for your reply. Actually, what I meant was that when we scan fabric metadata using Purview, similar to other sources like Oracle or SQL server, can we create a rule set for applying classification (e.g SSN, Phone number, full name) during the scanning process itself. Is this something Microsoft planning to roll out because currently this feature is not available for fabric as a data source .

As of now, Microsoft Purview does not support creating rule sets for applying classification (e.g., SSN, phone number, full name) during the scanning process for Microsoft Fabric as a data source, similar to how it works for other sources like Oracle or SQL Server.
