Copilot agent not responding in Teams, but it responds in Copilot Studio.

Question

Changed the “upload custom apps” to enabled, and gave it time. Retried in my teams and can still connect to the agent but no replies from it. When in copilot studio, the agent does reply and is actually doing a surprisingly good job.

I am having the same issue. I completed the Autheticate manually option in full details according to the guidlines. Still when I try to use it in teams as test, does not work. It is working as external app, demo website, or even in copilot chat. Why is it not responding in teams ? The answer does not help. Can any one help with it ?

Hi @Chris Dignan

There are couple of things you need to do.

 

Enable authentication: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/advanced-end-user-authentication

This is necessary so that Teams user can authenticate.

While adding scope also add the following: 1. Files.Read.All 2. Sites.Read.All

Make sure you also add the scope back to the copilot's manual authentication. See screenshots below.
