New Phone and my authentication verified accounts did not transfer over

Hi,

I recently got a new phone and it transferred all my data over from my old phone however the microsoft authentication app was all messed up. It did not transfer over my verified accounts and now I can't access any of my work profiles cause the 2 step authentication is not working on my new phone.

It keep asking for a QR code to setup but I dont' know where that is as the accounts were already set up on my old phone at some one point in time.

Urgent - as this is work related.

    Thank you for posting this in Microsoft Q&A.

    I understand that you changed your phone and transferred all your data from your old phone to your new one. However, the Microsoft Authenticator app got messed up, and now you can't access any of your work profiles.

    Try manually adding your work accounts to the Microsoft Authenticator app on your new phone. To do this:

    1. Open the app and select "Add account" from the Customize and control icon in the upper-right, then select Work or school account.
    2. Use your device's camera to scan the QR code from the Configure mobile app screen on your computer, then select Next.
    3. Return to your computer and the Additional security verification page. Make sure you see the message indicating that your configuration was successful, and then select Next. The Authenticator app will send a notification to your mobile device as a test.
    4. On your mobile device, select Approve.
