    Hi,

Do you want to use the app "Tally", which is installed on the remote PC (client location)?

If this PC is a windows client, it cannot install the RDS role. You can use mstsc to remote connect to the PC and use the app. But ensure that the account you use to remote connect has been added in to the Remote Desktop User group of the remote PC.

If the remote PC is a server, you can setup a standard RDS deployment on this server. Please read below blogs to learn how to configure it step by step. (Part1-4)

If there are more than 2 users need to concurrently connect to the RD session host server to use the app, you will also need to install RD licensing role and purchase RDS CAL.

    RDS CAL: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/remote/remote-desktop-services/rds-client-access-license
Install RD licensing role and activate the licensing server: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/remote/remote-desktop-services/rds-activate-license-server
    Install RDS CAL: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/remote/remote-desktop-services/rds-install-cals
    Detailed steps: https://nedimmehic.org/2018/04/16/remote-desktop-services-2016-licensing/

    Thanks,
    Eleven
