ARM build availability for MS ODBC Driver for SQL Server

With the introduction of ARM based architecture into many of the cloud computing platforms and the benefits they bring as well as the started shift to ARM based consumer machines it would be exceedingly helpful of ARM builds were made available for the MS ODBC Driver for SQL Server. For at least Linux would be fine with macOS being nice but not necessary for immediate needs at the moment.

I realize that there are potentially libraries that need to be updated to work on ARM and it's not simply changing a drop down, hitting build, and releasing them but it would be great if we could see this at least acknowledged on the roadmap.

Thank you

    Hi Matt,

The SQL Server ODBC Driver team has seen several requests for this and are currently evaluating it. There is no fixed timeline just yet.

    Thanks,

    Hi @Matt.St ,

I recommend you submit this requirement to the Microsoft feedback at this link https://feedback.azure.com/forums/908035-sql-server.
Your feedback is valuable for Microsoft to improve the level of products and service. Appreciate for your understanding.
In addition, you can try to use third-party drivers such as unixODBC and FreeTDS.

    Best Regards,
    Amelia
