The "Duplicate event" right-click menu item is only available in the web mail (OWA) and the "new" Outlook client. The good old "classic" Outlook client does not have this. To create a copy of an appointment/event therein, you can select the appointment, press CTRL+C to copy it, then CTRL+V to paste. Alternatively, hold the CTRL key and drag the appointment with your mouse to a new slot, this will also create a duplicate.

It's incomprehensible to me that MS doesn't support copying/duplicating meetings. They say it creates "problems" - I say fix the problems! This is an extremely basic feature and it's incredibly frustrating that Outlook has such a limitation. Here's the low down on why MS doesn't support copying or duplicating meetings for anyone interested: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/outlook-blocks-copying-meetings-with-copying-meetings-is-not-supported-4baaa023-2199-4833-b7ac-d9f0715d50f1

Neither CTRL+C/V nor Shift+Drag&Drop methods seem to work anymore in the new Outlook.
These are some installation references to give you my version context:

    • Microsoft Outlook Version: 1.2026.105.100

    Client Version: 20260102003.05

The addition of the DWORD value in the register seems not to have effect.
    Any other idea?

ExtendOffice shared a technique that works for me....

Right click and hold on the meeting to be copied. Drag the meeting to a new time and release the right mouse button. A dialog box will appear with the options to Copy or Move. Select Copy in the dialog box.

The same is described in a posting found below.

Hope this works for you as well!
