Hello,

In the articles on Basic Auth deprecation new Exchange Online PowerShell cmdlets (V2) are advertised all the time. But In order to use them you are still bound to Basic Auth to open a remote PowerShell session. Why (7 months left till deprecation)? And is there any way to resolve this issue now?

Thanks in advance!

Because that's what it is, remote PowerShell wasn't designed with the cloud in mind. They are working on a solution that should remove the dependency on WinRM basic auth and, at some point, the "proxying" of tokens as well. Keep an eye on the EHLO blog for more details.

They postponed the deprecation btw.
