For about a week now virtually every single one of my PCs in the organisation are crashing frequently.
You get a Werfault crash on screen popup, the event log points to msedge being at fault. So far I have found no resolution. Usual SFC and DISMs have all been run with no issues, full virus scan, did a full memory check just to rule it out.
for now I have disabled the Windows Error reporting services just to stop the popups. It is 100% a fault with a recent edge update that I would estimate was released towards the end of July. The latest error report below is on the latest stable release. Beta releases also crash
