Use PowerQuery in desktop appliaction to import a CSV file. This is not an Excel file but a test file with a specific encoding and data division standard.

I cannot no longer open csv files in Excel now it is copilot. I use my phone to do a lot of productivity work and I need to be able to import csv files into Excel spreadsheets. I now, no longer have the option of 'open with' Excel or importing from within a blank Excel spreadsheet.

Can you clarify what specific app you're having an issue with? It sounds like you are using Excel on your phone so you're using either Android or iOS I would assume. But these are different apps. It will help to diagnose the issue if we know what app you are working with.
Can you also provide the specific steps you're following along with the expected behavior and the actual behavior?

2025-01-28T15:21:01.4033333+00:00 I usually navigate to the csv file and use 'open with', the options are usually 365 or Excel either choice opened the file. Alternatively I have tried to open from 'File' in Excel and tried via 'Data'. There is nothing that will open the file in Excel.
