Google Drive permissions is different from OneDrive/SharePoint permissions, so it's possible that the way Google handles shared files doesn’t directly translate into how OneDrive or SharePoint handles them.

When migrating Google shared drive permissions, recreate a Microsoft 365 group with the same memberships as the Google Drive group. Map the original Google Drive group to the Microsoft 365 group in the "Map identities" setting.
